HEY COMET NATION!!!
Just wanted to update yall on a few things from the aquatic side of the world.
This season we have had a ton of dropped times. Some kids started with a 1 minute 30 second 50 freestyle time and they are now flying across the pool with 35 second 50 free times. I have had the pleasure of having 18 lovely humans be a part of the swim program.
This season we had one county qualifier in the 100 backstroke.
Ashley Dozier swam a 1:15.39 which made her 3 seconds faster than the cut off time. She is only a FRESHMAN.
Jailon Backus came .73 from making county but dropped a significant amount of time (over 20second drop ). He is only a SOPHOMORE. WE GOT TIME TO IMPROVE
TODAY AND TOMORROW the following students will participate in the 200 free relay, 200 medley relay, and the 400 free relay
