NBA Continues 2019-20 Season

It all started on March 11th shortly before tip-off in the game between the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder when the results came in. A Utah Jazz player had tested positive for Covid-19. At that time, the game was immediately cancelled. From then on all NBA games were cancelled as officials used that time to determine their next move during this pandemic. However, on August 26th, the NBA decided to continue its 19-20 season with game 5 of the first round of the playoffs. Teams are allowed to bring 37 people, including up to 17 players, to the bubble. So, that means at least 20 staff members are allowed into the stadium. Of course, there are several precautions that were put in place in order to keep all individuals within the stadium safe from Covid-19. Several sanitizing stations were implemented and in order to even step foot into the stadium, you must pass a screening test at the front gate. Until the Covid-19 cases begin to drop, this will be a reality for the NBA and all sports associations.
